We have just experienced an amazing 4 week, small group safari with Dennis around Zambia & Zimbabwe. This is the 4th trip Dennis has organised for us and the 3rd time we have travelled with him personally, which has always been a fun adventure. He worked closely with us in the planning stages to tick all our boxes, kept us completely informed all the way and produced a trip that was both varied & unique in environment & camp experience. The added benefit of Dennis' experience was that he avoids the masses and our wildlife sightings & interactions were truly personal & unique, allowing the time to really absorb the safari experience. We highly recommend Wildlife Safari Consultants if you want something special & a little different. Happy travellers, Gayle & Peter.

....... Life is reasonably back to normal with fresh memories of the enjoyment and colourful highlights of people and locations experienced so recently in Zimbabwe and Zambia ...crisp mornings, plenty of time with close viewing of a wonderful variety of animals and birds, without other tourists. Quiet times drifting on boats and conversations with interesting guides and fellow travellers. I can't leave out the generous culinary delights and refreshments...I always had a full belly. Thank you for the rich variation of camps, geography and locations which added to overall excitement of where to next. There were so many travel details and arrangements that happened seamlessly and without a fuss making for the smooth running of an efficient holiday and happy memories.

Another wonderful trip to watch and photograph African wildlife at close quarters. This was my second with Wildlife Safari Consultants and my spouse's first trip to Africa. Focusing on Zambia, we visited a diverse range of habitats in the Kafue and South Luangwa national parks. The wildlife excursions were replete with memorable scenery, sunrises and sunsets and wildlife experiences. Our camps were all of a high standard, with comfortable accommodation, wonderful food, friendly and helpful staff, and experienced safari guides with encyclopaedic knowledge about what we were seeing. The travel involved was meticulously organised and proceeded without a hitch. All-in-all a fantastic and memorable experience and highly recommended.

I put myself entirely in your hands for what was a completely new experience for me – a lot of travel and a lot of safari. And there was not a single moment which was not memorable. From the first landing on a red dirt strip in Masai Mara, when William threw my bag into the 4x4 and took off towards the welcoming giraffes to the last flight out of the Botswana bush over the Delta, it was absolutely magnificent. I thought my first tented camp on the Mara River was glamorous, but honestly the camps just got more and more fabulous as I went along. Although, to be fair, only the Mara River delivered me a dead hippo caught in the rocks just outside my tent, giving me daily opportunities to observe crocodiles enjoying breakfast. Dawn and dusk in Masai Mara were just incredible, and one day having breakfast with William under a tree entirely surrounded by a huge herd of zebra was spectacular. Seeing a magnificent leopard asleep in a tree and following her along the river when she came down was incredible.
I mean, there just were no low points in the entire experience. I thought the pace you'd recommended, with 2-3 nights in each place, was just right. By the time I had emerged from the bush in Tanzania after wonderful experiences in Tarangire (the amazing marsh land simply covered in birds, the whole ecosystem of the bush coming to drink in the evenings was magnificent) and Ngorongoro (I woke up to a zebra outside my tent and watched sunrise over the crater) I was ready for a couple of days' change of pace in Stone Town but after a few days I was keen to get back into the bush!
Zambia was a highlight for me too. By this time, I had absolutely fallen for the African birds and I learned so much from all my guides about what I was seeing and the habits of the birds and animals. The guides truly enriched my experience and I enjoyed their company and stories very much. I also enjoyed the different experiences of having a guide and vehicle to myself and then in Zambia and Botswana, where the camps were more intimate, sharing vehicles with my camp-mates. The combination was just perfect for me. I also loved the aircraft! As my holiday went on, the planes got smaller and smaller and my 2-seater helicopter into my first Botswana camp was quite the highlight. I had asked for different safari experiences, and you absolutely delivered that. A real highlight was experiencing such different landscapes and ecosystems along the way.
I could go on and on. Obviously the wildlife was the greatest highlight of all. And not just the magnificent large wildlife (although I was so lucky to see so many lions, cheetahs and leopards!) – the time I had just to watch the elephants and giraffes go about their business, the herds of wildebeest and buffalo – incredible. But the smaller things too- I loved the mongoose, the hyrax and the honey badgers just as much, the tiny mice and the birds! The birds blew me away. Hundreds of photos of them, from flocks of carmine bee eaters to lilac breasted rollers, the unbelievable marabou stork, the tiny tiny finches in fluorescent flocks on the ground, meant I do have one or two good shots! And in Botswana, the beautiful Sables and Roan antelope and Red Lechwe leaping in the marshes, so lovely. Every creature, every game drive, offered something new and delightful.
Your organisation of the entire trip, all the connections, all the camps, all the vehicles – all absolutely seamless and easy. I have told everyone I know that a month on safari in 5 different countries is worth every dollar and they need you to organise it.
By the way, I can confirm that with dozens of flights on every African airline, ranging from jets to a 2-seat helicopter and everything in between, across 6 countries, I experienced 100% smooth connections, 100% on time departures and 100% luggage turning up. Admittedly, sometimes it was me or the pilot throwing the bag in the hold, but still........ Qantas, take note!

North India in November, taken as a whole, a wonderful experience. The sights and sounds of India and its people were immersive and the friendliness of the locals wherever we went was at times overwhelming as the digital age had well and truly brought us into selfie territory. We were more travellers than tourists. From West to North and East we had a chance to journey from the rivers to the mountains to the cities and sample the local culture and cuisines. Endless photographic opportunities including lots of new experiences and aaahh moments from gaining access to the interiors of Hindu temples and Buddhist monasteries with the regular devotees, viewing the sacred Aarti ceremonies of the Hindus by the rivers in Amritsar and Rishikesh, seeing the odd meditation structures at the ashram where the Beatles once hung out, a gondola ride as well as the famous toy train ride in Darjeeling and one of the peaks of my trip, viewing the world’s third highest mountain Mt Kanchenjunga as it emerged from the clouds at dawn, quite magical, to many other emotional and uplifting times too. Such as viewing the Golden Temple at Amritsar at night, a dazzling experience or the beautiful interior of the monastery at Dehradun and feeling the peace of its surroundings.
A bit of comedy thrown in to a very serious practice in attending the ‘Beating of the Retreat’ ceremony on the India/Pakistan border near Amritsar. Safaris in Kaziranga National park in Assam as well as viewing how tea is made at a tea plantation, boat rides on the Hooghly and the Brahmaputra, two of India’s major rivers, magnificent sunsets, exploring history in forts and former battlegrounds such as Lucknow and Kolkata, seeing the remnants of the British Raj in their massive buildings, some still in use today, added to the variety and rounding out of a picture of India not normally experienced by tourists just doing the Golden Triangle.
Our local guide Manu was extremely knowledgeable on all fronts and accompanied us throughout. Transport in 12 seater vans was comfortable and allowed plenty of room for our group. Some terrain was tough but the itinerary was flexible and we worked through it. Accommodation was mostly great and well located. Travelling by train, air and road allowed us to see more of the land. At the end I was exhausted but happy to have seen so many truly memorable sights.

I’ve just returned from a 20 days East African Safari to 4 game reserves, Buffalo Springs and Samburu, Masai Mara, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire in Kenya and Tanzania. I can only describe the experience as life changing, a “once in a lifetime”. I was full of trepidations leading up to the trip but all that vanished the very first day in the Jeep bouncing up and down on the dusty roads searching for the elusive wild animals, the joy and elation when spotting them.
I can understand now why the African Continent has attracted so many adventurers. Many thanks to Dennis and Wildlife Safari Consultants for organising the trip and ensuring our safe return.

We have just returned from the most memorable holiday in South Africa and Zimbabwe in July 2023 organised by Dennis at Wildlife Safari Consultants. We had a big family group of 15 and it was the trip of a lifetime. All the arrangements were very well organised by Dennis. We had meetings beforehand and Dennis’ communication was fantastic, so that when we were there everything ran very smoothly. The accommodation was beautiful, all the transfers efficient and the activities that Dennis arranged were amazing. Seeing the African animals on safari and Victoria Falls was truly spectacular and something we will never forget. We highly recommend Dennis and his team.

For our family of 15 ( 8 adults and 7 children) our bespoke African safari and holiday planned and arranged by Wildlife Safari Consultants certainly took our holiday experiences to a whole new level. The choice and standard of game park, locations, accommodation and experiences matched our families’ circumstances and needs perfectly. Our holiday overall was planned and executed so well and went continuously from one high to the next. Thank you Wildlife Safari Consultants for such a wonderful experience and for a job well done.

A truly remarkable experience ..... So thanks Dennis for coming up trumps with your recommendations, choice of camp and support that ensured our trip ran like clockwork.
We completed our long awaited trip to Botswana to visit Pom Pom camp in December 2022 after it was delayed in 2020 due to COVID.
Following a flight from Johannesburg we arrived in Maun and were met by representatives of Moremi Air who assisted us to sort our luggage that was being left with them as only limited luggage in a soft bag could be taken on the flight. Some 15 minutes later we arrived at the bush strip used by Pom Pom (Kwando Safaris) and were greeted by some of the camp staff, a short drive had us in the camp.
We feel very privileged and lucky to have seen so many different animals (4 of the big 5 on our first game drive) at close quarters on our first visit to Africa. Being on private reserve at Pom Pom meant we had almost exclusive access to sightings. With expertise and patience the Guide and Tracker managed to locate a Leopard on two occasions, what a highlight this rounded out the big 5. Morning and evening game drives with our qualified guides gave us the opportunity to view the ‘big game’ and night life that this breath-taking environment can offer.
We cannot thank Dennis and also Alison enough for the organisation that made our journey run smoothly and the memories are sure to last a life time.

Organising a trip to Africa was somewhat overwhelming, with the range of choices, as well as challenges thrown up from travel disruptions post Covid. Friends who had used Dennis to organize their trips recommended him highly and we could not have been more grateful. Dennis helped us define our itinerary – we settled on South Africa. Our 2 week trip was outstanding in every way. Our accommodation was amazing. We stayed 4 nights at Karongwe River Lodge, with gorgeous accommodation and fantastic guides. We saw everything we hoped to – including beautiful cheetahs, and leopards. Truly awesome. We had 6 nights in Cape Town – I was initially afraid this would be too long, but it absolutely wasn’t. There was so much to do in and around Cape Town. Dennis had arranged a car hire for us, and driving around was super easy. Dennis then helped us organize a tour of Soweto for our last overnight in Johannesburg. All in all, we had a fabulous holiday, super well organized which allowed us to have such a special family trip. Memories of a lifetime.

Good holidays occur when ever thing runs smoothly. Great holidays occur when travel agent recommendations for accommodation, transportation, local guides and activities exceed expectations.
In our recent trip, Dennis Jones not only offered advice on where to go and what to do, but ensured that the travel arrangements were seamless, arranged for top quality hotels and lodges. A detailed itinerary mapped the holiday path perfectly with obsessional detail. As a result, our recent trip to Cape Town included drive down the coast to Hermanus with a stopover in Franschhoek. Dennis arranged for us to stay at La Cotte hotel where the standard was above average and manager was extremely friendly, going out of her way to ensure a pleasant stay.
This was followed by a drive from Jo’burg to Madikwe game park the North West province of South Africa where we stayed at the Rhulani Lodge. Cannot recommend it more. Staff go out of their way to be professional and friendly, the accommodation superb, and the driver knowledgeable and keen to guarantee seeing the diverse wildlife including the big five. Great photos and experiences made this trip more than memorable. If visiting Soweto, make sure you have Lebo as your guide: knows the area, talkative and full of information.

We recently toured Madagascar through "Madagascar Travel Centre" with Dennis Jones. We were exposed to all facets of life in this fascinating country - its photogenic people, markets, crowded city streets, paddy fields, mountains and beaches. My favourite parts of the trip were snorkelling off Ifaty, cruising the Pangalene canals, walking through the old city of Antsirabe, visiting a remote poor village and the rainforest walks. Another highlight was seeing and hearing the “Singing Lemurs” give their full-throttle and alarming territorial yell. My wife Catherine enjoyed the canoe trip around “Lemur Island” which gave us another close-up encounter with the lemurs in a natural setting. The selected accommodations were always well-appointed and had excellent restaurants with local and Western dishes. So overall we were very happy with this comprehensive adventurous tour.

We have had the most amazing holiday. Five countries South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Our trip ran perfectly with fantastic guides and the most incredible animal sightings of all the big five, we couldn't have
wanted for anything more except maybe to go back again.
We went to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, went on the helicopter flight over the falls and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river In Johannesburg we visited the Apartheid Museum, Nelson Mandela's house and a trip to Soweto. Next to Chobe in Botswana - probably my most favourite place but that is so hard to say as everywhere we went was just beautiful, the accommodation, the Chobe national park, the Chobe river cruise the guides all the animals, just everything there was perfect.
Then we flew to Kenya where we went to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, home of the Flamingo, in the Great Rift Valley where we saw the black and white rhinos and the Rothchild's giraffes. We took a boat ride to Crescent Island and went on a guided walk among the not so dangerous animals. Where to next - the Masai Mara and Masai village. We saw the big five and many many more animals, the migration and the crossing - a site you just can't believe until you experience it. Then to Arusha and the Ngorongoro Crater another fantastic place. Lovely accommodation and great guides. We the flew to Zanzibar. The old stone town where spices and slaves were traded. Nungwi a fishing village where we relaxed and watched the dhow boats.

A truly remarkable experience ..... So thanks Dennis for once again coming up trumps with your recommendations, choice of properties and ground support as our trip ran like clockwork.
This was our second trip to Africa but we wanted to return to see the "real" wildebeest migration as opposed to the tail-end we saw in the Masai Mara. We were a little apprehensive as we thought it might have been an anti-climax after such an amazing experience two years ago. Well this thought was short lived and that was before we got to Northern Serengeti !
We started in central Serengeti arriving tired after 2 days of travel I was not overly impressed on arriving at the (bush) camp but after a good nights sleep I started to really appreciate its simplicity and ending up really loving it and was amazed at the quality of the food coming out of the bush kitchen. We were spoilt by the variety of animals including an amazing number of cats.
We moved on to the North Serengeti. The migration was far more spectacular that I had imagined despite having seen a glimpse in Masai Mara and on the documentaries obviously. We both found it quite emotional watching the struggle particularly the little ones fighting against the current. We were lucky as we saw 3 migrations on one day so be sure to stay 3 nights as many people didn't see any on their 2/3 day stay. Also we again saw many cats .
Then to southern Tanzania...... the jewel - Katavi ! Well you've got to get there. Again the sense of freedom on the great flood plain and the fact there are very few tourists. We had a lot of luck - lions 5 minutes having got off the plane and throughout our stay. Margherita couldn't see enough of the hippos - easy as Katavi boasts one of the continents largest populations. Two highlights were certainly being treated by a family of elephants that visited us one day at breakfast and lunch so close that they could have stolen the bread roll off my plate ! We were also entertained by the amazing variety of birds visiting the birdbath just by the restaurant.
So of the 2 trips where would I strongly recommend in no particular order - Serengeti, Katavi, Masai Mara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater.

As a keen amateur photographer, seeing and photographing African wildlife had been on my bucket list for some time. The brochure from Wildlife Safari Consultants to visit Botswana with other photographers was very enticing and, being and having never been to Africa, I signed up for the 2019 tour. Having just returned I must say it has been a wonderfully rewarding experience, both for the tremendous wildlife sightings and photography, but also for the interesting and well-organised itinerary and the great company of Dennis Jones and my fellow travellers.
I feel very privileged and lucky to have seen so many different animals at close quarters on my first visit to Africa. Being on private reserves at Khwai and Tuli meant we had almost exclusive access to sightings. Even in Chobe, where there are more visitors, our skilled guide ensured we had uncrowded sightings, which is better for us and less stressful for the wildlife.
The standard of accommodation was superb throughout, and my expanded waistline is a testament to the good quality of the food, provided by unfailingly excellent service of the lodges' staff.
Dennis Jones' guidance and care throughout our trip were also exemplary, thank you, Dennis. I have no hesitation recommending Wildlife Safari Consultants to anyone considering a trip to see African wildlife. Dennis is a photographer so these trips will be photographer-friendly, with plenty of opportunity and time to take those iconic photographs that all photographers desire.
Now I just have to find the time to go through all my photographs to select and publish my own iconic collection...

Just back from our third trip to Africa where Dennis Jones was our organiser and guide. For our first and third trips, we had the pleasure of Dennis’s company. For our second trip, Dennis organised everything for us and we did a self-drive tour.
As for this last trip, it certainly kept up the tradition we have come to expect when Dennis organises something. The attention to detail; from the pre-tour briefing, to daily updates of what’s on etc. and liaison between our group and tour managers/guides etc. was exceptional.
As for the experience, we sat down at the end of the trip to recall animals and birds that we encountered. The list came to 33 birds and 33 animals/reptiles. This is simply the numbers that we could recall, I’m sure there are many missing. From elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah etc. etc. to the tiny (very seldom seen) elephant shrew, a mouse size mammal more closely related to elephants than shrews.
The accommodation was always first class and hard to leave. Lying in bed at night to hear hippo calls and elephant visits was fabulous.
During the trip, my wife celebrated her birthday at Pangolin Khwai Camp. The night started with a surprise rendition of ‘happy birthday’ played by one of the guides on his guitar as we sat around the fire with pre-dinner drinks. A cake followed, as desert, with photos taken by National Geographic photographer Jaco Beukman. Something unforgettable!
In total, we spent around 73 hours in safari vehicles spotting things to photograph and receiving a “Botswana massage” (what you get bouncing around in an open top 4WD vehicle, chasing photo opportunities). Another fantastic, unforgettable trip! Hopefully, not the last time we can tour with Dennis.

We were very pleased with Dennis’ overall plan. The detailed itinerary that he provided was accurate, helpful and fantastically well organised. We had many scheduled planes, taxis and hotels: All transfers were nicely coordinated. Dennis’ organisational skills are outstanding. Well done and congratulations.

Dennis deserves another big thank you for a very enjoyable and well organised 5 week part independent and part package group of safaris which took in Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Mala Mala in South Africa. It was the third time I had travelled with WSC and again all arrangements including the solo sectors, worked perfectly. Accommodation was good to excellent. Drivers and guides very capable and knowledgeable. The difference in Tanzania being that in 2 lodges they rely on solar power so showers had to be timed right. Didn’t detract from the enjoyment though. Each lodge and its experiences and setting were unique.
Travelling solo for 6 days from Nairobi in July I travelled to Lakes Nakuru – some flamingos and stunning scenery, Baringo (thousands of flamingoes) and Naivasha, great for R & R and walking amongst the non-carnivorous wildlife – giraffe, waterbuck, zebras, monkeys and boating on the lake - lots of birdlife through the whole trip. Very green.
The group section of the tour took in 3 weeks travelling through Kenya,Tanzania and Zambia, Gayle and Peter being 2 of them and I second everything they have stated in their review below. We saw some superb sights in all the game areas, followed many of the animals little life dramas, had ample time to observe and photograph. In Zambia in the South Luangwa, hippos provided us with endless amusement and drama and crocodiles also with an impala kill not to mention the other big game. Night drives were thrilling in Zambia and Mala Mala. Yes, I would use WSC again.

We have just returned from another brilliant and well organised trip to Africa, encompassing Kenya, Tanzania & Zambia. This is our 3rd trip organised by Dennis and our 2nd travelling with him and his vast experiences provide him with a wealth of knowledge about the countries you are visiting. Having visited these countries before Dennis showed us completely different aspects and areas and it was like seeing them for the first time. The diversity of landscapes was stunning, animal sightings and experiences were plentiful and exciting, accommodation was varied, more than adequate, even sometimes extravagant and new places like Ruaha & Selous were definitely worth exploring and deserve a return visit. What I love about Dennis' trips are the contacts he has made over time ensure we have the best possible experience and meeting some of the locals this trip added to this experience. Fortunate for us but not so for Dennis, this was a very small group and I must commend Dennis for the thought taken to ensure we were "happy travellers" and the care taken when one of our party hurt her back by assisting with luggage, organising medical treatment and wheelchair transfers at the airports.
For anyone considering Africa we highly recommend Dennis Jones, Wildlife Safari Consultants for a unique African experience tailored to any budget away from the hordes of the common tourist destinations. He also does trips to India (which we have also done with him) & Madagascar and we would not hesitate to travel with Dennis again.

Just a big thank you for the fantastic trip of a lifetime we had in South Africa. We both, along with the rest of the gang had an awesome time. Each place we stayed was very clean and welcoming. Where do I start, Cape Town awesome, Hermanus awesome and Bamboo rest house was different but great. We have so many memories and photos. We cannot thank you enough for organising this fantastic trip.

I was in the same group as Bob and Chris, and I fully endorse their comments. Everything went very smoothly during our four weeks in South Africa. A significant contributor to this was the experience that Dennis was able to bring in both suggesting activities, and in how to make the best of those activities once we had decided on an itinerary. It was a very enjoyable trip with a lot of variety and the four weeks passed very (too) quickly. I would definitely approach Dennis if I'm planning a similar trip.

This was going to be a trip of a lifetime but it surpassed all our expectations so it's difficult to describe. Suffice it to say it was spectacular on all accounts. We were away for a month and everything went like clockwork - fantastic considering we were in 9 locations. Where Dennis excelled was choosing a diversity of experiences, optimising the chance of seeing game and really importantly getting us away from the crowds.
We loved Muchenje (Chobe in Botswana) for its location, bountiful game and a charming lodge with just 20 guests. We tried to rate the lodges but they ended up equal first as each one had something special to offer and provided unique experiences.

We were fortunate enough to be part of the same South Africa tour as Robyn and Des in Aug–Sept 2017. Nearly a month full of excitement and travel experiences. This was to be a different tour for us as we did it all on our own. No tour guide, just the 8 of us in two vehicles doing our own thing. We thoroughly agree with the comments made by Robyn and Des, this was a fantastic tour with many, many highlights. We could easily be coerced to travel to South Africa for the third time.
To put a different slant on these comments, we wish to congratulate Dennis on his wonderful talent to organise things down to the last minute detail. All the accommodation was great, the cars were just what we needed, the suggested things to see, the suggested game parks to visit etc. Even including suggested roads, travel times, navigation details etc. This is the benefit of having someone like Dennis involved in the planning of a tour and the implementation of the itinerary. We could not have planned the whole tour without his knowledge and experience. I have no hesitation in recommending Dennis and his company.

Just a note to congratulate you ! You did it again !
The recent tour you organised for us to South Africa was absolutely brilliant. Each day we seemed to move from one great adventure to the next, culminating in the magical days we spent in Kruger National Park and the private game lodges. The safari drives produced many spectacular animal sightings. Some of the greatest highlights included a leopard in a tree with her kill, an impala. The next morning, we saw the same leopard with her eight week old cub and watched them interact in a playful & relaxed manner. We were also lucky enough to see five young male lions with a buffalo kill. We watched as they postured in a macho power struggle to determine which lions were the masters of the kill. Just awesome!
There were countless other wonderful experiences , the Sani Pass, the whales at Hermanus and the Zulu Reed Dance to name a few. The entire trip was a fantastic experience ! Thank you so much for your superb organisation.

Sue and I would like to thank you for taking us on the recent Africa trip visiting Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. It was an absolutely fantastic trip with a plethora of animals. We managed to tick all the boxes and now have many wonderful photos to remember the trip. Denis' experience and knowledge of both Africa and photography resulted in a well managed trip that could not be equalled by any other travel company. Thank you again for a wonderful trip and whether you like it or not, we will be back !!

As part of this group we had an amazing trip through lesser known parts of India with a real chance to meet the people & see the amazing wildlife. Experiencing a tiger in his domain, looking us in the eye from only a few meters away was a true privilege! A very well run tour, thank you Dennis.

My recent Feb trip to India for the Safari was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. It was my second trip conducted by Dennis Jones and again, was very well organised and managed. The small group was a perfect size. It primarily consisted of a succession of safaris in national parks which stretched from Gujarat in the west for Asiatic lions and wild asses through central India for the fabled tiger - a tense, exciting time following one through the jungle and seeing it appear in front of the vehicles and passing through to the jungle on the other side - and rare barasingha deer, through Varanasi on the Ganges River with its holy rituals and a surprisingly modern and attractive Calcutta to Assam in the north east for elephants and rhinos (many, many, huge rhinos), scores of varieties of birds throughout and was accompanied in part by a reputable ornithologist. The animal sightings enthralled me, especially the interaction of the adults with their offspring, the monkeys, elephants and rhinos in particular. The natural beauty of the landscape and variety of terrain got my attention too. Many times connections between places were overland and this gave us an excellent opportunity to see how the people live in rural areas and in what sort of conditions including a first hand look when we were in Gujarat interacting with the people in the surrounding villages. The people were always friendly and welcoming. Travel to and from the drives gave us many opportunities to see their daily activities at various times of the day which I found very interesting. The food was excellent all through at the lodges with local cuisines figuring in the different regions and having prepared for bugs beforehand and on an ongoing basis I did not have an issue with it, thankfully. Accommodation was in all instances comfortable and of a good to excellent standard. For those who missed it, I’m sorry. Thank you, Dennis for a wonderful trip.

We’ve just experienced a wonderful Wildlife Safari to India. The necessary planning and organisation involved in this type of trip must be enormous but, from the client’s point of view, everything went like clockwork. The cities and places we visited were very well chosen. Our accommodation, both in cities visited and whilst on safari, were well selected and helped give us a feel for where we were at that particular moment. To be able to drift down the Ganges in a large row boat watching the morning way of life and to see the fabulous tiger in Bandhavgarh National Park whilst travelling with a great group of people is unforgettable.

Thank you for all of your planning - all of the destinations were absolutely fantastic, and all of the arrangements worked like clockwork. We couldn't have asked for better. All of the lodges were great and the staff looked after us beautifully. We also loved Cape Town and the accommodation was superb. The kids loved it too. We are very glad we decided to stay at the waterfront - it was such an ideal location and not at all tacky as I had feared.

Just wanted to let you know that everything went perfectly. We had a magical time. Thank you for your recommendation on the Sunset cruise – well worth the extra money. All arrangements for transfers arrived on time and we felt very safe and secure. We saw so many animals including the Big 5 that everyone seems to talk about but I think my favourite were the ugly 5. Thank you so much for your time and advice. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to my fellow travellers in fact a couple of friends hope to travel to Africa in 2016 so will pass along your details.

We are very pleased to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our adventure in Africa. We are more than satisfied with our encounter with the animals and very much enjoyed meeting the Masai and Lake Victoria people, and the Hadza bushmen. Zanzibar was also a highlight. Cape Town exceeded our expectations. We were extremely lucky with the weather having warm, clear days that allowed excellent views of Table Mountain. Thanks again for organising such an enjoyable adventure.

Just some feedback on the trip, the connections were all super smooth and the staff who met us at the airport and ferried us everywhere were always on time and very nice, so it was a really great trip from a connections/ travel perspective. And the hotels were all perfect, very comfortable and what I needed. Really grateful for all of your advice and hard work getting us all sorted !

Over
the years I have heard many times that the wildebeest migration is the greatest
show on earth, however no matter how many images I had seen, or how many
documentaries, nothing could really prepare me for what I experienced. (As this is quite a lengthy article please read the entire tour description here at : Evernote :: "East Africa Migration Tour 2014 - a client's perspective........" )

(our trip) ... The best way I can express how I felt about that experience was a thought, not expressed, after a comment made by our hot air balloon flight over the Masai Mara. He said we were lucky to see all the animals as such a view was only seen for about 8 days of the year. I thought to myself that it was not luck but the result of the planning that you had put into our trip. After last years trip (2013) I wrote to say it was the trip of a lifetime. During both the trips I have had some experiences, just so memorable and I recognise that I have been so fortunate to have them.

Our African trip was very well organised and you looked after us like a dad.. thank you. Even though people worry about Africa I felt totally safe at all times. We were very lucky to see so much wild life. The lodges were great, but I loved the tented site at Lake Eyasi and enjoyed the walk with the bushmen.

We had an amazing trip & all the travel arrangements went like clockwork ! Namibia - We are so glad you talked us in to driving as it was great to have the freedom to watch what we wanted, for as long as we wanted, especially when we watched people on the buses scramble over each other to get a photo & then move on.
Thank you so much for putting it all together, we met some wonderful people, had lots of close encounters and have some amazing, happy memories & experiences. Could even be another trip in the future & if so we’ll be coming back to you for sure.

I certainly haven’t packed in nearly as many amazing experiences in that time as I did on your wonderful tour in Africa. Thank you so much for all your efforts in providing such a well organised tour. It was a delight not to have to worry about anything. I was most impressed with the accommodation, the food, the drivers, the variety of places we visited and the amazing amount of wildlife we saw. All in all a nicely balanced holiday.

A truly well organized wonderful trip. Thanks too for arranging the pre-trip leg to Rwanda to see the gorillas. This was just amazing. I am 'seriously happy'.

We thoroughly enjoyed our seven weeks in Africa. Our request for diversity of experiences was certainly delivered in spades. A chance encounter with an ex British travel agent now living permanently in Kenya, led to an enquiry as to our itinerary and the comment that we must have the best agent in Australia. Your experience and time you spent explaining our itinerary in detail proved to be an important factor in the success of our trip.

I feel so good about Motswari that it is a place I can go to for my Africa hit when I get really old and decrepid ! The Trail camps in Kruger were very interesting. Lots of long hard walking but very well planned and we saw lots of animals especially rhino.

Thank you for such a great trip to Africa. We had a wonderful time & are really looking forward to going to India in February with you…but it will be hard to’ top’ the African Experience ! I was quite apprehensive about going on game drives in open vehicles, but surprised myself as I actually felt very comfortable sitting right beside lions & cheetahs. However, I must admit that some elephants got a bit too close for my liking at times. All the organisation and accommodation throughout the trip was first class all the way.
