Samburu National Park

Found in the northern area of Kenya, this Park is not huge but has a very good cross-section of the wildlife of the region. Visiting Samburu is easily achieved by road (on good National Highways) or by daily air services from Nairobi.

Samburu is the primary home to some rare species of animals:
* Grevy's Zebra (pictured above at Samburu)
* the long-necked Gerenuk
* the Reticulated Giraffe
* Beisa Oryx

It also has a good reputation for cheetah sightings. Lions, leopards, elephant, buffalo and hippos round off a great variety of larger species which makes Samburu a great Park to visit.
