Nearly all visitors to India require a Visa. For many nationalities this can be applied for on-line, however beware that there are numerous websites who appear to be the "official" site for Visa applications, but are service centres who charge unnecessary fees. Please ensure you only apply for an Indian "eVisa" through the Government site:
