We often come across extremely interesting articles and we have been pondering how to share these gems with you. Over time we have collected them in our "Evernote" system (a great free service). Starting today we are going to place some of them onto pages in our website as little links to our collection. Just click on the link and you can read the article courtesy of the Evernote folk, and of course courtesy of the original posting.

In a brilliant triumph of progressive logic, Zimbabwe & Zambia have launched the "Uni Visa" starting 28.11.14 for the 40 Category B visa countries which includes Australia. This means that you can purchase a single $50 visa and travel freely between the two countries and visit Botswana for a day trip without paying re-entry fees for an unlimited 30 day period.

India "Visa on Arrival" for Australians

The Government of India has introduced Tourist Visa on Arrival (TVOA) enabled by Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to facilitate foreign travellers visiting India. 

* Restricted to Foreigners whose sole objective of visiting India is recreation, sight- seeing, short duration medical treatment, casual business visit, casual visit to meet friends or relatives etc. Not valid for any other purpose/activities.  
*  Entry into India within 30 days from the date of approval of ETA.
*  Valid for 30 days stay in India from the date of arrival in India.
*  Allowed to enter and depart from any of the 9 Airports, viz Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai & Thiruvananthapuram.
* Cannot be availed more than twice in a calendar year.
* H
olding an Ordinary passport with minimum six months validity
