For most of November we conducted a group tour in South India. Whether it was the journey on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway, cruising the backwaters of Kerala, observing the hard life of a dance student (11 years of long days and perfection) or experiencing the mysteries of Kerala chefs at work, it was a hugely varied itinerary showcasing a side of India that our group did not expect. One of the highlights was a short stay (just 48 hours) in Bandipur National Park where everyone saw tiger, leopard, wild elephants and dhole (India's rare native wild dog) - truly one of the best wildlife experiences possible.
